Concert Tee Series: One of my Favorite Bands, Dawes

11th December 2018

Music has always been a constant in my life. Whether it’s background noise breaking up silence and my frenzied thoughts, or just for pure joy, it is ALWAYS playing. This also explains why live shows are one of my favorite things to attend and basically why Nashville is still my favorite city. I didn’t realize how spoiled I would be when I moved here. I really enjoy supporting artists who inspire me and my favorite way to do this is with a good concert tee because I also love wearing a memory. This concert tee series is dedicated to some of my favorite artists, and some of my favorite looks, because there isn’t anything much better than dressing up a concert tee.

There’s been the classic combination of heartbreak, doubt and loneliness, I mean honestly, this is what our twenties are for right? But today, I am dedicating this season to find love again, starting with most importantly, loving myself.

I am still trying to figure out what to do with my life, and I am young enough to make mistakes and still be OK. This is somewhat reassuring. Knowing there are so many opportunities in this world has made me grateful that I am continuing this journey of self-discovery by myself, and I mean, don’t get me wrong, I am fully aware it will be a lonely life for some time, but it will be worth it in the end. Thankfully, I have the best support system anyone could ask for (and I know everyone says this, but truly, thank you to my family and friends for being my rock and for your continued support on this crazy ride).

Today was an incredibly special to me. Not only because today was Friday, but today just happened to be my nana’s birthday. Anyone that knows me, knows how special my nana is to me. Her and I have a rare relationship that I would not trade for the world. She is one of favorite people in my life, and today, this post is dedicated to her.
