My mother told me I broke her heart when I was 5-years-old. I was raised in the small town, Warsaw, IN. We were walking downtown in Indianapolis when I let go of her hand, looked up at her and said I was going to live in a “big city” as soon as I was old enough. She was sad because she knew I wasn’t kidding. I discovered my passion for writing and storytelling when I was in the third grade. I was deathly shy, and writing was my escape. I would create characters and just get lost in my own stories and stop worrying about being different than the other students in my classroom.

I love connecting with new people and telling their stories. I moved to Nashville, TN, three years ago and it’s everything I always imagined. Working in the music industry has been such a whirlwind, in the best way. It has forced to me to overcome challenges and pushed me out of my comfort zone. The purpose of this blog is to help connect with others, and to offer a little positivity in this crazy world. I would love to collaborate and help tell your story! In the meantime, I’ll be taking on the world one day, one story and one outfit at a time.
