Today’s look is simple, and right to the point. I knew I was attending a board meeting later in the day so I chose an outfit that wasn’t too much of anything: too over the top, or too plain. To add a little more “sass” to the look, I threw on my favorite (and only, sadly) bowler hat.

Bowler hats are awesome, and here are a few reasons why. 1. They are the perfect accessory because they go with mostly every look. 2. They aren’t seasonal, so you can really wear them year round. 3. It’s a hat, so you don’t even need to style your hair if you don’t want to.

I didn’t even think to wear my bowler hat until I was ready to walk out my front door and I saw it hanging. I grabbed it and just threw it on, and I think it really pulled my whole look together. I do not think my outfit was completely boring, but the hat definitely adds more to it as an overall style.

These hats are pretty interesting, but when I found this one on sale, I couldn’t resist giving it a try. I really do like this look, even with my shorter hair. Typically, if I wear a hat, I like to have my hair curled a little bit so it doesn’t look boring and straight, so I thought I’d try wearing it straight today with my hat, and I actually did really like it. Last minute add-ons are a really fun way to amp your style for the day. Don’t second guess it, just go with it!
