I hope you all had a wonderful long weekend filled with family, friends and delicious food! Mine was great and filled with all those mentioned and it continues tonight with the Chicago Blackhawks… #BecauseItsTheCup.

I’m not going to try to pretend to know everything about this sport, or the Blackhawks, because honestly, football is my sport, but I do know the rules and hockey is one of the more entertaining sports to watch. My brother and I decided to make this series between the Chicago Blackhawks and the Los Angeles Kings a little more interesting. I have the Blackhawks winning this series (hopefully the whole thing, again) and my brother chose the Kings. Loser buys the winner a hat of their choice. Now before you start calling me a “bandwagon fan” I am moving to Chicago soon, so it only makes sense to cheer for this hockey team, so…who cares.

To prepare for game 4 tonight, I decided to wear my Blackhawks hat, and hopefully that pays off and the series will be tied after tonight. Representing a team can be so fun because there are so many fans out there, and it makes for interesting connections and relationships that I truly enjoy. I decided to wear a plain top and black shorts because the Blackhawks hat is the focal piece of my outfit today.
