Welcome to my new and improved website…finally! (Insert HUGE freakout!) This transition has been such a bittersweet process, but I am truly so happy with the outcome that not even a little rain could spoil it…FYI that is why my hair looks a hot mess in this photo.
I wanted a more mature look and feel to this blog, because this is something that is truly meaningful to me, and I hope something that gives you a little inspiration each time you visit! This post is going to be dedicated to the future, and new beginnings. Speaking of, one of my best friends welcomed her second child to the world today (can’t wait to meet you, Eli)! (Insert even BIGGER freakout) Life is truly such a beautiful thing.
Today, I decided to mix my look with a few of my favorite things: 1. Anyone who knows me, knows that flowers are basically my favorite of everything; smell, texture, print, just… everything. There is something so delicate and beautiful about them, so as you can see my wardrobe definitely consists of floral everything, and I’m not ashamed. 2. A fashion staple you must own at least one pair of: White jeans. Disregard the “no white after labor day” bull crap because fashion shouldn’t have rules. White jeans will work for any season if worn with confidence. I’ve had this pair for five years now, and they still remain my favorite, plus, they basically go with EVERYTHING.
This look is super simple to recreate and it’s just fun to wear, especially on rainy days because the pop of color from my top and white jeans really stands out. Reflecting from my older posts, really showed how much that has changed since I started this blog. Out of everything that has changed in my life, one thing that has remained a constant, is my style, and that is also something I am so happy for. I will not change my look/style for anyone, no matter their preference (and neither should you.) I hope this post encourages you to embrace your style and continue to rock your favorite pieces, no matter what anyone else is saying to you. Do not change for someone else. Embrace the future and change, but always stay true to yourself.
