“On Wednesdays. we wear PINK.”

Today marks the 10th anniversary for the movie “Mean Girls.” So, today’s post is dedicated to all the mean girls in our lives, and who to replace them with.

In a group of girlfriends, there is always bound to be at least one mean girl. Whether she’s the one without a filter, the one who holds nothing back, or the worst, the one who says everything behind everyone’s back and plays every side, these girls exist in EVERY circle. If you don’t think so, then you haven’t discovered she’s talking about you yet.

Regardless, I hope in every group, you have an awesome friend. You will discover which relationships should remain in tact the older we get. I have learned this the hard way, but while discovering who my true friends are, I’ve also learned the most important qualities to look for when wanting to retain these relationships.
1. Honesty: I’m not saying harsh honesty, because please use a filter, it may be hard, but most times, at least in my experience, not using a filter just comes off as rude.
2. Time: I am there for all of my friends, ALL of the time. No matter what, they know they can call me at any hour even to vent for 5 minutes, but they all know no matter what, I am here to listen and give them guidance.
3. Support: Difficult decisions are so much more simple when you have someone at your side helping to push you through it. Be there for them, even if you don’t completely agree, be there for her, it will be completely worth it on both ends later.

I wanted to wear pink today in honor of one of my favorite movies, “Mean Girls.” Luckily for me, my soon-to-be sister, bought me this shirt I have on today. She told me she saw it and it reminded her of me and my blog so she bought it for me (and it has PINK flowers, how perfect). The tiniest gestures really make a huge impact. I am so thankful that I have a friend like Natalie in my life. I truly hope that you surround yourself with the right people, because who you surround yourself with is a reflection of yourself.

I hope this post encourages you to reflect on your relationships and rid any “Mean Girls” in your life.

I seriously love your blog.. Great colors & theme. Did you make this amazing site yourself? Please reply back as I’m attempting to create my very own site and would like to learn where you got this from or exactly what the theme is called. Thank you!|
