It has been quite some time since a new post, but I decided that it is a new year, so we’re going to keep this blog going! I hope your holidays were filled with love, happiness and of course, new fashion inspirations. Today, I decided to mix some prints. This is one of my favorite trends because it is so easy, yet it really stands out and makes people want to ask you about it. Mixing prints can be pretty simple as long as both pieces aren’t too crazy. I opted for a busier pant and paired it with my more simple top. It really brings out the blues in both pieces, which was a goal for this outfit.

My printed pant is from H&M (also were only $5.95, such a steal!) My top is from Von Maur (only $4.00, and yet another steal.) See, not only is mixing prints fun, but also very cheap, you just need to look a little harder for these pieces. Mixing prints although fun, can sometimes a little tricky, just grab some pieces and give it try, it is a new year after all, be open to new looks and you will be surprised what looks you can create with items that are already in your closet.

Because it is my favorite season, #RedCarpet season, here are my top stand-outs. My absolute favorite would have to be Catt Sadler who was just gorgeous, Emma Watson for taking a risk and mixing a dress and pant, and also Usher just because he’s always stylish, and just because he’s Usher.
