There are so many reasons to love Easter. 1. Typically, you are always surrounded by your family, 2. It’s a day to celebrate Jesus, and 3. It’s definitely a day to show off some style.

This year, I decided to splurge a little bit. From my previous posts, I have talked about how to budget, where to find sales and how to shop clearance. I still hold to all of that, but sometimes you deserve to spoil yourself. Sometimes you find a piece that you love, and if you do I think you just need to splurge a little and buy it. Eventually, you will find a purpose for it or an event to wear it to. So, just do it. I’m not saying go crazy and buy the next pair of Louboutins you see, but just be realistic within your means, and do NOT feel guilty about it.

When I found this dress, I knew I had to have it. It is from H&M and it is $30. I know that’s not crazy, but I usually do not spend that much. I love this dress because it is different, and I think it looks really vintage. I felt it would be a perfect Easter look. I am so happy I bought it because I know I will wear it often. I received a lot of compliments on this dress today because a lot of people said it looked “different.” I love hearing that because I love trying new trends and prints. I will say it a million times, but fashion is FUN and it is a means for expression.
Try something new. Change is a great thing, and a fun way to get started is to embrace a new trend or trying that shirt/pant/legging/dress you constantly talk yourself out of buying. Just do it. You will love it.
